Support for Afghan Refugees

Our work for Afghan people is two-fold. We participate in international advocacy- even traveling to Geneva, Switzerland, in February 2025 to advocate for Afghan girls and women.

We work extensively with the local Afghan refugee population. The families we support worked with the U.S. military, and they have been forced to flee. If they remain in Afghanistan, they and their families will be killed by the ruling Taliban. We helped provide food assistance, house wear items, clothing, educational support, and most importantly- friendship.

How can you help? We need help collecting shelf-stable foods and funding for for cold items. We also collect new and gently used clothing. We maintain an amazon wish list, and we frequently posts calls for assistance for more specific requests.
