Justice for Women in Kosovo

When I was only seven years old, my mom and her students started a project with HALO Trust to help remove landmines in Kosovo. I have grown up learning about and being part of this work. Our family has been so many amazing Kosovar people.

Women and girl in Kosovo suffered during the 1999 war. Many were victims of sexual violence by Serb soldiers. There are so many ways we can help. These women need justice to heal. I will be working with several movements, including Rally for her Justice and the Kosova Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims to support these women.

Local refugee outreach- summer 2025

I am so grateful to have been able to help the local refugees from Afghanistan. It has truly been an amazing experience- from seeing how they interact, trying the food they make, to doing different types of activities with them. One of the things that I was able to do that I had so much fun doing was when me and my friends were visiting one of the families, and one of the girls our age wanted to teach us how to do their cultural dances. It was so much fun to not only learn it
